I’m hoping to share a little more detail as times goes on – not enough to count as spoilers, but enough to convey the feel of each of these WIPs when painted with broad strokes. I think it’ll help keep me focused on doing the work so I have something to write about here, too.

I’m guilty of cheating, I’m afraid – I use my half-sized sketchbook for all things. :D Most of the pages are filled with sketches, but some of them are critter concepts with all the spaces between doodles filled with scribbled notes, and then other pages are entirely taken up with written brainstorms. It’s so handy! And chaotic. But handy!

Wow, you sound as challenged/excited as I sometimes feel: having so many WIPs in various states that I barely know where to begin.

And because we are both artists and writers, you’ll get this: sometimes I don’t know what tool to pick up – a pencil and sketchbook, my digital tablet and graphic software, a keyboard, or voice recognition software? Damn these fabulous choices!

Great to see one of your drawings. Nice to not feel so alone in this multi-dimensional game. :->
