Karen! It's wonderful to see you here.

I'm slowly/suddenly recognizing that *I* need to redraw and reinforce *my own boundaries*, too, and practice makes better, dontchyaknow.

Absolutely - and I'm glad you're taking the time and energy to take care of yourself like that. :D

Thank you for visiting and commenting - hoping your days are going great!

Warm Greetings and Happy New Year, Ty!
It's Karen, from over at Shanna's place...

~~~
I see you wrote this on the 12th Day of Christmas - the day they say that the 3 Wise Men showed up in Bethlehem with gold, frankincense and myrhh ~
I hope your "My Solution: I wrote this post." was/is/keeps on being, an equally valuable gift to yourself as those exotic goodies were to Mary and Joseph!
~~~

I haven't even read the other comments here, yet, because I didn't want to distract my 'sparkle-brain' with any other words or ideas begging for my attention. I'm slowly/suddenly recognizing that *I* need to redraw and reinforce *my own boundaries*, too, and practice makes better, dontchyaknow.
Thank you for the inspiration!

Bright Blessings and Glorious 2011 to you!

... I always notice her drift to the masculine side when she feels vulnerable, the feminine when she feels loved.

Yeeeah, I'm guilty of that. I think it's just easier to feel gentle and open (and be vulnerable) when I feel loved and accepted, and I feel safer being more on the strong-and-resilient side of things when my surroundings are less cozy. And that so easily translates to most people as feminine and masculine.

I notice my own tendencies to shift back and forth usually immediately, but it did take me a while to tie them to gender expression and interpretation like that.

Also, well-met and welcome! :)

Waggle dancing! Yes. I imagine there would be floppy dinosaur tails as part of this. Only not in the creepy-Barney-way. More like the old Dinosaurs - you ever see that show? I loved it.

:D It is always good to see you here. &hearts

I followed you back from Do Mi's place. Congratulations on your continuing self awareness. I have a cousin who does the genderfuck thing, and I always notice her drift to the masculine side when she feels vulnerable, the feminine when she feels loved. It's a good barometer for me to watch, but she doesn't seem to be aware of it like you are. Although, I'm guessing you didn't notice right away.

I'm looking forward to reading through your archives.
